Run these commands in a terminal. They add the v2 repository, so v2 updates with the rest of your system.

Terminal 
wget -qO- https://apt.v2editor.com/public.key | sudo gpg --yes --dearmor -o /usr/share/keyrings/v2-archive-keyring.gpgecho "deb [arch=amd64,arm64 signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/v2-archive-keyring.gpg] https://apt.v2editor.com stable main" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/v2.listsudo apt update && sudo apt install v2

You only need to do this once.

Uninstall

Remove v2:

Terminal 
sudo apt remove v2

To also remove the v2 repository and its signing key:

Terminal 
sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/v2.list /usr/share/keyrings/v2-archive-keyring.gpg
